主讲简介：Alan Chang (张艾伦) 澳大利亚昆士兰大学博士，在澳大利亚、中国、韩国等从事教学与研究工作。2016年艾伦博士加入温州大学，承担生环学院的教学工作，教授科学论文阅读和写作及多门生物科学课程。期间他帮助修改/编辑了数百篇由教师和研究生撰写的不同研究领域的科技论文。对Alan博士而言，科技论文写作不仅仅是一种写作技巧，更是一种能引导生活的思维。

课程内容：Good scientific writing should begin with conducting good research. Yet, the question of what constitutes good research is often overlooked by researchers until they embark on converting their experimental data into a scientific publication. This problem could complicate the writing process and make it less enjoyable. This seminar takes a look at the criteria for good research and explores their importance to researchers from the perspective of scientific writing, especially for graduate students who are about to embark on their first research project.

高质量的科技论文建立在良好的研究基础之上。但是，在把实验数据变成论文之前，研究人员往往会忽视这一点，因此他们后续的写作过程变得复杂而又枯燥。本次讲座着重阐述良好研究的标准，并从科技论文写作的角度探讨其对研究人员的重要性，尤其是对初次开展研究项目的研究生来说更是如此。
